About us, meet our team
Jonathan Ford BSc (Hons) FCA
Jonathan trained as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse (now PWC) in Liverpool before becoming a small business services manager for Grant Thornton in Warrington. He also spent three years as the financial controller for Brookside and Hollyoaks (not that he ever mentions it!).
Jonathan is recognised as a specialist in the entertainment sector and is often called upon to provide training courses and seminars for media professionals.
Outside of work Jonathan is very proud to be the Treasurer of the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace
Louise Ford BA (Hons) ACA
Louise also trained as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse in Liverpool before becoming a Senior Compliance Manager in the corporate tax department of the Manchester office.
Louise now heads our Creative Team and specialises in providing friendly expert advice to actors, writers and other entertainment professionals.
Iain Jennions BA (Hons)
Iain progressed his accountancy career at Grant Thornton in Warrington before taking a break to study International Business and Spanish in Salamanca, Spain prior to joining Jonathan Ford &Co in 2002.
Iain runs the largest portfolio of clients for the firm and is an expert at helping clients keep on the right side of the tax man. Being obsessively organised means that Iain will always keep track of what's due when so you don’t have to!
Kirsty Hale
Kirsty joined Jonathan Ford &Co straight from college and now looks after a wide variety of areas from credit control to payrolls.
Kirsty's always happy to make a great brew for clients visiting the office.
John Mansley BSc (Hons) ACA
A maths graduate from Liverpool University John trained as a chartered accountant with Jonathan Ford &Co.
John manages a wide portfolio of owner managed businesses and is responsible for keeping everyone up to date with the latest happenings in the world of tax.
Colin Povey
Colin has been an accountant since records began - almost 50 years – and in that time has seen it all. Colin is an expert in helping clients turn their carrier bags full of receipts into meaningful accounts.
Prior to joining the firm he worked for Grant Thornton in Warrington.
