A new logo from our Institute

We’re very proud of the fact that we’re a firm of chartered accountants. As our professional body launch their new logo (see above – it’s not a serial killer in case you wondered) it’s worth a reminder of why being a chartered accountant actually matters to our clients:

  1. We’ve had to pass exams. Loads of them. And they’re not easy either.  Some ‘professional bodies’ will let you in just by filling in a form and paying a fee.
  2. We have to keep up our training up to date so we can give you the best advice.
  3. We get inspected by visits from our Institute.
  4. We have to have insurance in place in case we give bad advice
  5. We have a complaints process – and a professional body you can complain to.
  6. And we always act with integrity and honesty

And remember, anyone at all can call themselves an ‘accountant’. It’s not a regulated word like doctor or dentist.
