Free tax check for actors

Whenever we take on a new actor client it’s not unusual for us to find that their National Insurance has been incorrectly calculated – often leading to overpayments of tax of thousands of pounds every year.  We see the same mistake being made when people have done their own return and even when they’ve used an accountant.

The trouble arises because entertainers are taxed in an unusual way and many advisers – and even HMRC staff – aren’t familiar with all the rules.

If you would like us to do a free check as to whether you’ve been overpaying tax then please get in touch with Louise on lford@jonathanford.co.uk for more information.
