Giving a Goat – March 2017 Edition

First things first, we’d like to say a big thank you to all of our clients who have referred a friend and those who provided their 2015/16 self assessment information to us before the end of August 2016.  We love our charitable projects so it’s great to see our clients buying into it with us!

Refer a friend or colleague

We have received 15 referrals since 1 August, which means that we have donated toward 15 goats to be provided to families in Kenya.

These donations makes a huge difference to the families by going toward sponsoring the goat and providing the breeding infrastructure.  While the breeding program is under way, a small amount of income can be generated through the sale of anti-HIV goats milk and goat meat.  In the long term, the production of other products such as soap, cheese and yoghurt will create additional income as well.

So give a goat and give our details to your friends, family, colleagues and associates!

Provision of self assessment information by 31 August

We received the 2015/16 self assessment information from 156 clients before the end of August 2016.  This was a big improvement on the previous year (only 100) but still short of our target of 200.

We have therefore donated 156 malaria treatments for children in Africa.

Our donation covers the costs needed for a full malaria treatment.  It is essential that malaria is diagnosed and treated immediately.  The disease can be cured if treated quickly but fatal if ignored.  The cost of treatments can be unimaginable for poor and marginalised communities.

Let’s try and get 200 next year!
