How to spot a dodgy accountant (part 1)

Find out how easy it is to leave them! Good accountants won’t try to contractually tie you into them with termination clauses in the contract. Good accountants will rely on the quality service they provide to make you want to stay!

We’ve recently had a client move to us from a St Helens firm of accountants who wanted to be paid over £300 for a ‘notice’ period and refused to refund money they’d been paid for work they’d not done.

So before you sign up with a new accountant check the small print that will apply if you find out they’re not the right firm for you.
