Suffering with the January blues? Next year it can be so different.

January can be a rubbish month. Christmas has been and gone…but still needs paying for.

The weather’s freezing.

The days are still short. And, there’s HMRC to worry about too.

Your tax return needs doing and your books are in a mess. What ever happened to that envelope of receipts?

Your tax bill is loads higher than you were expecting…and payment is due in a week.

You’ve a tax “payment on account” to make which could be lower…if you only knew what your earnings were.

We’ve lots of clients who never feel this way. They share a secret.

It’s called Xero.

Xero is a cloud based accounting package. It’s easy to use (and we train you anyway). You can run the whole show from your mobile phone – raising invoices, doing the bank rec.

You can have up to date information whenever you need it. Hey – even do your tax return before May and be super-smug. Review your earnings in January and reduce your tax bill if you’ve earned less. Brilliant.

There’s Addons available so you can just take a photo of your expenses and someone else puts them into Xero. No more pockets stuffed with receipts. And no more lost receipts that could’ve saved you tax.

So, If you’d like next January to be different to this one then get in touch. We’re experts at helping small businesses get up and running with Xero.

Jonathan Ford & Co are Xero Silver Partners. We use Xero every day to run our own business in Liverpool, St Helens and online. Call us on 0151 426 4512 or Email
